Aluminium deposits in floatchamber. This is created mainly on final assembly. The lamp post breather should have the threaded portion lightly smeared with oil when assembling. Our experience is that fine hairs of the floatchamber metal are deposited inside when fitted dry. Float needle seating, burr after slotting.
