Re. chassis No.B-155-EJ. - E.L.Paton, Esq.,

Dear Sirs,

The query regarding the radio set fitted to the above car has been referred to us at Derby and we beg to say that the reason we object to any filter circuit being placed on the voltage regulator is because the contact points would rapidly burn away.

We appreciate the difficulty in this respect and experiments are in hand at these Works to obviate the cause of interference. It will sometimes be found advisable to screen the wire from the dynamo to the distribution board to avoid interference at this point, and in some cases this has been known to cure the trouble. We wish to assure you that we are doing everything possible in collaboration with the Radio people and the Maker's of our voltage regulator to obviate this trouble.

We wish to point out that no adjustment of the voltage regulator or radio set, in our opinion will have any effect on the interference.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
