EXPERIMENTAL CAR. 4180

With reference to PN{Mr Northey}3/DN5.1.26 asking whether there will be an experimental car in France which could take Sir James Percy to the south.

As regards the car at Chateauroux, that car does definite routine runs and is expected to complete 500 miles per day. The job there is organized with 3 shifts. It is not possible to interfere with the running of that car without upsetting the whole programme.

We understand that 11-EX car, which is being run 10,000 miles by CWB, will be in France on the date mentioned by PN.{Mr Northey} We suggest that that car should be used for Sir James Percy.
