TO Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
FROM P.N.

SIR JAMES PERCY will probably be going down to the South of France for a well-earned rest during the early part of February, and we should much like, if possible, to have enabled him to run down there on a Rolls-Royce car.

So far we are not aware of any car which might be available for this purpose.

Would you please let me know as soon as possible, whether you contemplate that there will be an experimental car in France about that time, doing one of it's usual test routes in the neighborhood of Chateau Roux, because it might be quite practicable to make a temporary change in the routine of such cars running, and in this way, hold it available for a double purpose, enabling Sir James Percy to be driven to the South of France.

P.N.
