| G.W. Hancock Hotel de France Chateauroux Thank you for your GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}2/JAB 24/7/35. Will follow your remarks about the gearbox through & see what improvement we can make. Despatching silent tappet filter today. How do you know that the tappets are not wearing? The auto adjustment would look after the clearance. You will be glad to hear that we are having almost complete success with the latest Chromium plated tappets. Fisher ought to have left V.M 20 clutch lining with you. We find that the power is being limited by the carb throttle size, the pistons are not getting near the top of their stroke. Are you getting any detonation? Can we stand more compression ratio? How are the Brakes, Bentley Standard? What are the max revs you have achieved. Im. | ||
