Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Re: CHASSIS B.60.GA - Mr. F.{Mr Friese} VALABREGUE Since he purchased this car from us last October, this customer has complained on several occasions that his wife finds the springing to be uncomfortable and harsh. We have oiled the springs and lowered the initial load of the dampers. The last time the car was with us, we fitted to the rear two smaller wheels having 6.50x17 tyres. The front tyres are standard. The owner has written to us asking us if it would be possible to fit two of the above type wheels and tyres to the front. As he is very keen upon getting a softer ride, we do not think he would mind the steering being a little heavier. VA. [signature] | ||
