6.B.IV.X Thank you for your memo dated March 8th. As regards the exhaust system, I am afraid there was a misunderstanding as we did not realise that you were referring to a lagging clip.

35-EX. The Design Dept. are not entirely satisfied with the gearbox stay we have sent you. We shall, therefore, shortly be sending you a further stay of simpler design and easier to fit. We shall be glad if you will fit this as soon as it arrives. The mileage run on the present stay will give us information as to whether there is any danger of the drain plug in the gearbox coming loose.
