SQUEAKING BRAKES ON 20 HP. X4257

We are still having complaints from customers of squeaking brakes. The dampers which we reported upon in our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG20.1.25 have been tried on several chronic cars for squeaking, with success.
We have not received instructions for any other schemes for overcoming this trouble. We feel this may become an urgent job when we have servo operated brakes.
It would not appear that casting the aluminium ribs to the drums would be very successful. The Hispano is built this way, but the brakes squeak badly.
