MODEL CRANK TESTS.

Will you please make and test model cranks in the following materials:-

3 in CHNS, to specification 207C, S/ZNX. This is the latest car gear specification.

3 in Nitralloy, nitrided all over.

3 in Nitralloy steel, subjected to all the usual treatment except the actual nitriding process in ammonia. This is to give us a strength test on the core of nitrided shafts.

These should be made to the dimensions of the scaled down wide-pin shaft shown on Des.995 with webs .287" wide.
