14th February 1940.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

For the attention of Mr.W.A.Robotham.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 13th inst., in further reference to the Studebaker parts, and we are pleased to note that the Wiper Blades and Check Strap which we reported as missing are actually in your possession.

In view of your further remarks with regard to the Wiper Motor we have, as mentioned, located this under the scuttle rail above the instrument board.

As requested, we are arranging for our Stores to return to you the grey Spare Wheel Cover loaned to us ex 1.R.1. also the luggage lid{A. J. Lidsey} of the Buick.

With regard to the Wheel Cover, however, we would mention that in order to obviate delay in the completion of 9.B.5. we stripped the existing rubber from the Wheel Cover in order to fit it to the Cover of 9.B.5.

We have ordered replacements, and as soon as this material is to hand we will have pleasure in forwarding it to you so that the Wheel Cover ex 1.R.1.can be completed.

Yours faithfully,
for PARK, WARD & CO LTD.,

Works Director.
