------------------------------------------------------

At the request of H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} I am sending you, under separate cover, 25/30 headlamp bulb. If you will refer to memorandum No. 16131, reference Et.1/ML.7.1.38, fifth paragraph, which is in Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}'s possession, and also to memorandum No. 16198, reference Hmt.8/ML.15.1.38, you will note that when this bulb failed it caused the main fuse to blow resulting in a complete blackout, and nearly caused a serious accident.

The owner was at the time in the car and is very much upset that such a state of affairs should exist. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} suggested that perhaps you would like this bulb in the event of taking the matter up with Osrams. I understand that H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} has also suggested a modification for the headlamp fuse system in the 25/30 h.p. chassis.
