I visited the Works, in company with Mr. Cowen, of Messrs. Fairey & Charles, Coachbuilders, at Hayes yesterday. Their design and workmanship appear to be excellent, and far above the average. They say they can deliver a landaulette body for long chassis, which you require for a 10,000-miles trial, in four months after receipt of order. This is better delivery than most coachbuilders could promise. Will you please urge the Coachbuilders' Drawing for this chassis in order that drawings etc. can be put in hand without delay. We shall not have an estimate until we have passed the designs.
