X3374 Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} for Expl. Dept. X.562. RE 6.VOLT COIL CONNECTED UP TO HALF LIGHTING BATTERY. X.3374. X.1520. 26.6.14. El/C26614. I understand that the experimental dept. have found some disadvantages attached to the above scheme. Would they kindly embody them in a report as both Messrs. Vandervell and Lucas are raising rather strong objection to running the ignition coil off the lighting battery while it remains an earthed system. They state they will be quite pleased with the scheme if we are willing to insulate it from the frame. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Mcr. Do this please.
