Wilmot-Breeden Ltd. with GYZ-31. Firstly the car was demonstrated and jellying was very pronounced, front tyre pressures having been increased to 40 lbs. When they came to take measurements for the making of the Bumper it was found necessary to remove the front dumb iron fairings and beading etc. but this I would not let them do for several reasons. I then arranged to forward them drawings of the chassis front - dumb irons and Coachbuilders drawing, which they said would actually be better than measuring the car. If they receive the drawings to-morrow they will have the Bumper ready for fitting on Friday next. It will then take approximately one and a half days to fit and tune the Bumper up. It will be necessary to take the car over without the fairings on, and also to have new ones made to fit over the Bumper Supporting Bracket which they intend fitting. Attached is a sketch giving an idea of their method, which theoretically seems sound, and which they claim in practice to be even more astonishing. BWG{J. C.
