6001. To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} e.c. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/WB.{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}6/HG.25.10.38. WXA.2. This car has given trouble (missing fire) twice during the last week. No.6. plug on both occasions was oiled up when removed. (KLG FL830X) The plugs were cleaned and re-set only five days ago. As the plugs have run 15,000 miles without previous complaint we have fitted new ones and shall now be able to determine whether there is overoiling of No.6. cylinder or if the old plugs were at fault.
