A.Gordon Smith Esq.,
S. Smith & Sons,
Cricklewood Works,
London. N.W.2.

Dear Mr.Smith,

I regret the delay in replying to yours of the 17th inst. until now, owing to extreme pressure of business at the works here.

I do not anticipate being in London in the near future, so that if there is to be an early discussion relative to the rev. counter, it seems inevitable that someone will have to come up to Derby. I should be very pleased to see you indeed, and if there is time, to show you over the works, if you have not already been over.
If you will kindly suggest one or two dates, therefore, I will try to arrange things accordingly.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
