X328 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.1/KW. 1st February, 1936. Messrs. Silentbloc Ltd., Victoria Gardens, Ladbroke Rd., Notting Hill Gate, LONDON, W.11. Dear Sirs, We have now tested the first sample rubber to your print F.360106. The results so far are the best we have obtained for this particular mounting. We should like to have the load deflection readings for your other 2 units, B. and C. We are despatching to you one of the mountings which we are at present fitting to our cars. We should like to know how the flexibility compares with your rubbers. In the meantime will you please produce 6 more of the units F.360106 having the same flexibility as your first sample. The recent visit of your representative to our Works was most helpful. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
