Phantom III Rear Gearbox Mounting.

We attach Silentbloc Ltd's drawing F.360106, which shows the rubber we are now using in 32-EX. At the moment this is the most successful rear gearbox mounting.

This mounting is similar to N.Sch.4531, only fitted with rubber in a compressed state instead of moulded.

The safety ring as shown on N.Sch.4531 to support the gear in a case of complete failure of the rubber, appears to be unnecessary other than as a means of oil protection.
