| COPY. from Professor E.C.Dodds. 'Dunster', 72.A. Teignmouth Road, N.W.2. Please send replies to: The Courtauld Institute of Biochemistry, 14th December 1936 The Middlesex Hospital, London, W.1. A.F.Sidgreaves Esq., Messrs. Bentley Ltd., 15, Conduit Street, W.1. Dear Sidgreaves, Herewith the list of plugs that I have got from my chauffeur:- Mileage. 25th June 3,579 K.L.G. 28th July 5,922 K.L.G. 14th October 8,064 A.C. 21st October 8,449 K.L.G. 10th November 8,931 K.L.G. 23rd November 9,675 K.L.G. All the plugs have given trouble, some at low speeds, and some at 2,500 revs. The only way in which we can run satisfact- orily is to take the plugs out and clean them every two or three hundred miles. Even then they still give trouble. I find that it is particularly bad starting in cold weather, and the last two days we have had to put in a fresh set of plugs before we can get the car to start. On removing the plugs they always appear very dirty with deposits on the insulators. ................; Yours sincerely, (Sgd) E.C.Dodds. | ||
