To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re 104-MY. Sgl/E10.5.34 I should be glad if you would let me know what work has been carried out on this car whilst it has been at Derby, how you found the steering, if adjustable tappets have been fitted, what type, etc. etc. By the way, a pair of brown shoes were found on the car on arrival which the man who brought it up said were on the car when it came to Derby. They certainly do not belong to us and Kennett assures me that they were not then on the car. In fact he took everything off that he possibly could of its normal kit. The shoes are size 8 and the makers' name is Bective. I should imagine they belong to some one in your Department and suggest your putting up a notice in the Shop. Meanwhile they are being held at Lillie Hall. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
