Chassis Output ----------------- I am delighted to note from Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}2/GR{George Ratcliffe}12.9.32 the good news authorizing an output of:- 10 Chassis per week from October 1st onwards, instead of an output from October 1st of: 8 Chassis per week This means - always provided the 10 per week output is maintained - the last Chassis in "W-B" Series, i.e. No.4200, is due to Road Test: February 4th.1933 On our agreed basis of 22 weeks from the date you give the word "Go" until Chassis are due to Road Test, it will be seen that sanction for a further batch of material is now overdue. If, therefore, a further sanction could be released immediately, it would help matters considerably, and tend to avoid the continual hitches we have had of late in maintaining supplies etc., etc., and the abnormal pressure existent generally in completing chassis in accordance with Sales requirements.
