CHASSIS ---------------- With reference to ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}2/MG.31.8.32., we consider it necessary to carry out standardisation tests on a 20/25 HP. chassis fitted with these cold pressed frames before the latter can be ordered for production, as it would not be safe to standardise cold pressed frames based on tests with another type of chassis, such as Peregrine or Bensport. This means that it will be several weeks after receipt of the 20/25 HP. cold pressed frames before the standardisation tests could be commenced. The present standard frames for the last 50 of the first 100 in 'W' series chassis were released in BY/Cgh.{W Clough}21/G.11.8.32. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
