Dear Sir

Many thanks for your letter of the 24th. It is awfully good of you to offer us one of you new pattern Hipers. We shall be in town again from Nov 4th for ten days or a fortnight when I hope to have the pleasure of calling at your works & accepting of your most generous offer.
Mr Fisher is delighted with the Houdaille's & I must say although I anticipated an improvement in having the front ones fitted as well (otherwise I should not have advised Mr F.{Mr Friese} to have them) they have surpassed anything I anticipated & the improvement can only be described as wonderful. The only thing I cannot understand is why Rolls-Royce Ltd do not standardise your suspension as it undoubtedly makes the riding of the car perfect.
Mr Mathews of John Thornton & Co Ltd. a friend of Mr F's. has just purchased a new Minerva & as you no doubt are aware they standardise your absorbers to the front springs. I have advised him through
