June 1937.

REPORT ON GUN-10 CHASSIS 30 H.P.

The above car had a bad complaint of spitting in the exhaust silencer.

The carburetter was modified to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}392 and Depot Sheet, in conjunction with the service mechanic who deals with this section in the Repair Dept.

The ignition governor and hand control was modified by the Repair Dept. and tappet clearances set at .008" inlet and exhaust. New sparking plugs KLG. F.L.B. 30X were also fitted, and the car passed off test as satisfactory.

The complaint was not for slow running, although the new type coil was tried. This was eventually replaced by the original standard.
