As mentioned to you on the telephone to-day I am sending this car to you tomorrow morning, and would like your opinion of it from the point of view of tyre and exhaust noise at speeds between 20 and 30 m.p.h. When the exhaust noise synchronises with the tyre noise the result is very displeasing. The silent tread tyres do not seem to have any effect on this car, in fact whilst they are possibly no more noisy than the old pattern they are certainly no more silent. The brakes also on this car seem to me to require a great deal of pressure at low speeds, mostly traffic work, to make them really effective. I get the feeling at the start when driving this car that the brakes are not good. Customers may also get that impression when driving it. Would you please say if you think they are up to present standard, and if not what is causing them to be inferior to that standard. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} Lwb | ||
