Dear Sir, I am very much obliged for your letter of the 9th inst., The position is that we have no 16-Cylinder CADILLAC, except the sports model coming over, which would be suitable, the others being only Show cars which are not run in. However, if the Sports model is finished in time before the Brooklands Track closes, I should be only too pleased to meet you and for us to do as you suggest. For your information we are going to market a speed model of very much lighter weight for the 12-Cylinder CADILLAC motor. This we shall also be only too happy to show you if you desire it. I was a Rolls owner for a number of years and am well-known to Major Cox of Conduit Street. It is very kind of you to suggest our seeing the Maybach, in which we are naturally interested. If you desire to purchase a CADILLAC Chassis we should be quite prepared to consider the purchase of a Phantom ll in exchange.
