Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 22nd instant, and note that you will be sending us an order for the TSM/B and B.W. types. These we will forward you at once. Please do not let the question of expenditure interfere in any way with the speed of your test, as rather than this should happen, we would supply the remainder free of charge.

We must thank you for sending us the result of the test of the lining mentioned in your letter. This is very interesting, but we feel that we must attempt to get over this difficulty without at any rate, a too rapid fall in coefficient with the reduction in speed, or there might be a risk of "fading". We feel that it is quite possible that another type of liner might have totally different characteristics.

We shall be very interested to hear how the test progresses.

Yours faithfully,
HUBERT H.P. TRIST & COMPANY.
