44238 To H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} from B.J. ER Copy to.... Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BJ1/H1.10.24. NEW EXHAUST NOISES: 40/50 H.P. I attach a copy of PN {Mr Northey} 15/DN30.9.24. We are hoping that this matter can receive immediate attention in order to prevent any more cars coming through with this noisy exhaust. We fear that every day's delay may mean that more cars will be made with this noise. Therefore, every hour is of importance, as we fear that customers will complain bitterly of any increased noise, as they always expect a Rolls-Royce to be silent. There seems no doubt that this is a new and very irritating noise. B.J. | ||
