Bailey - Chief Engineer} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} [struck through] Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} -- Referring to my letter to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} in which I pointed out that the carefully considered memo which was taken down as our discussion proceeded stage by stage was not issued, the information which I have issued to the Works covers fully the position discussed. The decision finally arrived at was that we were to, generally speaking, use the 20% stiffer spring. This is the attitude adopted in the instructions which I have issued and which I propose to act upon. I attach herewith copy of BY1/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 3.10.24. giving full information which I have issued on the subject. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
