W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sir, We are very much obliged for your letter of the 10th inst., but unfortunately it is impossible for us to send down one of our 16-Cylinder CADILLAC models on Wednesday of this week as we have sold all the stock we have in this country, with the exception of two or three cars which are in our Showroom here, which are new and unused and would not give any idea of the proper performance. Since writing you we are also marketing a 12-Cylinder CADILLAC, built on a much lighter scale than the 16-Cylinder but with practically equal speed. The Writer would have been delighted to have arranged such a meeting as you suggest but unfortunately, for the reasons explained to you, at the present moment it is impossible. Possibly at a later date we may be able to meet and we should like to take this opportunity of thanking you for your courtesy in inviting us. Yours faithfully, LENDRUM & HARTMAN LIMITED.
