V1729. Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/MJ. April 10th.1931. F.W. Hartman Esq., Messrs. Lendrum & Hartman Ltd., Buick House, 26b.& c., Albemarle St.{Capt. P. R. Strong}, LONDON.W.1. Dear Sir, You will recollect that in October of last year we had some correspondence with regard to running a Cadillac against one of our cars on Brooklands Track. We do not know whether you are still interested in an interchange of information as to the relative performance of the Cadillac and our own cars, but if so, we should very much like to meet you at Brooklands as we previously suggested. We shall have a car on the track on Wednesday of next week (the 15th.inst.). We also hope that there will be one of the latest Bentley's there. Should you be able to bring a Cadillac we shall be very pleased for you to try our car and compare notes. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
