FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} WSJ

C. to Oerlikon. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. BATTERY IGNITION. X6095

We send you herewith a print of LeC. 2967. showing the above.

The make and break levers shown together with the springs and contact points are intended to be an exact duplication of Delco Remy, and Delco Remy parts can be used.

The cam profile is also similar.

With regard to the HT. moulding the type shewn has vertical connections as required for J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3., but the intention is to fit this same ignition on the 'B' sports, in which case we should use the Delco Remy HT. moulding with side connections.

To get going the latter can be used for the first J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. if necessary.

The original of LeC. 2967. will be sent when the remaining information has been completed.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
