EXPERIMENTAL REPORT

-7-

Expl. No.

REF: GKH12/Crald.8.25.

General examination underneath the car.

Frame, frame ties and brackets, equalising shafts and bearings, cross members and flanges - these all appear to be O.K.

Front wings.

We consider front wings to be very poor and weak. We are continually having to repair cracks, to hold the wings together. Stouter material should be used for these. We also recommend that the wings should not be tied to the running boards.

Total average speed during test ----- 35.1 m.p.h.
* petrol consumption * ----- 17.1 m.p.g.
* oil * ----- 345.27 m.p.g.

Side steering tube.

F.51863 rear spring found broken.

G.W.Hancock.
