Dear Sirs,

Your Ref. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 4/KT. Experimental Dept.

I am in receipt of your letter of the 26th instant.

The machinery for breaking up the concrete will be on the Track on Monday, November 6th, but I anticipate that you will be able to do a complete lap, although I cannot guarantee this.

Conforming with our usual policy I hope to keep a certain stretch of the Track free for testing throughout the winter.

Yours faithfully,

[Signature]

Clerk of the Course.
