Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X766 EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn21/010.7.22. Re. Overheating of New Chassis. ----- We attach hereto, a copy of memo. we have received from Madrid, on which we shall be glad to have your comments. This is the first case we have had brought to our notice of the tendency of the belt to break when fitted with the fan having the small pulley. We shall be glad to know if you have any information which we can give to Spain to avoid the trouble referred to by them, or what prospects there are of any improvements being effected to improve the cooling of the engine.
