FRL/HM{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}6.7.22. M/W. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} (COPY) 6th. July, 1922. I wish to draw your attention to thw way the majority of the new chassis are over-heating. It is very hot, at present, in Madrid, so probably that is the cause of a good deal of the trouble, and in spute of fitting high speed fans, this is not sufficient to stop the water boiling. Also, I notice that after fitting the high speed fan, that this has a tendency to break the belt, as at high speed the bent [handwritten above: belt] opens out. I would very much like to have your opinion on the matter. FR. | ||
