MAGNESIUM CASTINGS.

We wish any further castings for induction pipes, rocker covers, bottom halves and gear boxes to be ordered in magnesium.

The idea behind this is that if a piece has been tested in magnesium and has come out successfully, it will certainly stand up in aluminium.

Also, it seems probable that magnesium will be as cheap as aluminium after the War.

With regard to our axle centre casings, we want 2 of the 3 which are about to be instructed, to be in magnesium. A third to be in aluminium in case we experience any trouble on the larger cars.
