We have had handed to us for test three Watford EW6 magnetos recently returned by Messrs Norths Nos. 100084, 107842 and 107858. We have tested these machines to our production specification and also on our standard leaky gap. These magnetos now pass our electrical tests satisfactorily, Messrs Norths having succeeded in getting the low speed retarded figure on the leaky gap down to our specified limit 250rpm although they have allowed no margin the figures obtained on the three magnetos being 250, 240 and 260 rpm.
