SpectreCodename for Phantom III Jacks.

File

The second SpectreCodename for Phantom III to go to France will be equipped with hand operated jacks similar to those used on the Phantom 2 chassis, for the purpose of proving out what we look upon as our standby scheme.

The 3rd SpectreCodename for Phantom III for France should be equipped with the hydraulic scheme fitted with a small engine driven pump operated from the instrument board. This is the Session's scheme and overcomes the objection of the labour of pumping up.

Instructions are not yet completed for the hydraulic system but are being urged forward.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
