- 2 - had already agreed eliminate 10,000 miles test and asking if it was now suggested that the bumping test should also be eliminated. 18th January, 1927. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} says 'Yes' to last question and gives his reasons. 20th January, 1927. 'S' wrote giving BJ's views on the subject. 'S' are very concerned about this matter because no Production sets have yet been ordered and cannot be until sample sets are passed - and from the date they are ordered, it will take at least 2 months to obtain supplies. The position therefore is, that although Low Pressure Tyres and Wellbase Rims are standardised for both models, we are unable to supply them, although we specially recommend them as a set-off against the demand for Discs, to which we object.
