The front downpipe has broken away from the primary expansion chamber at the weld. There is also a large piece of metal which appears to be a broken baffle rattling about inside the silencer. A local garage has made a very unsatisfactory welding job of the break, due to the aluminised finish, and it is doubtful if the repair will hold out very long. We think it advisable to have a new downpipe and expansion box, which is integral with the second expansion chamber, sent out as soon as possible. Will you please arrange for this to be done. ---------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Present production parts sent. Downtake pipe in staybright, remainder in M/S "Aluminized" Expansion box collar is in M/S as staybright collar is not yet available Lou Wyman. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W.
