Instructions for fitting and bedding a new set of dynamo brushes.

A new set of dynamo brushes has been sent to Chateauroux,
Will you please fit these in place of the present ones which should be returned for inspection.

The new brushes will be required to be bedded in the following manner :-

With the dynamo stationary wrap a length of emery cloth round the commutator, emery side outwards, so that it passes between the brushes and the commutator. Drawing it to and fro round the commutator with fashion the ends of the brushes to the correct curvature.
