To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to Hdy.{William Hardy} X 342 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.9/KW.14.5.35. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Autolock Rear Dampers - Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1848. We were hoping that we should be able to test an alternative operation of the hand control suggested by Hdy.{William Hardy} It was then thought that very simple alterations to the Ex. detail drawings would make this possible. It is now found that nearly all new detail drawings are necessary, including the one of the damper casing itself. It is essential that we should gain experience with this type of damper as soon as possible, so that the final design can be made. Will you please therefore urge the production of the parts to your present detailed drawings. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} | ||
