Confirming the spare wheel cover should be painted to match the car colour, not black.

Steele}/Rd 2/PC 3.1.61, last paragraph, I here confirm that it is my opinion that we should continue to paint the spare wheel cover lid{A. J. Lidsey}, etc., to match the car colour, and not black, as has been suggested. There would be no objection to the inside only of the wheel compartment being painted black, but I understand that this would constitute no worthwhile saving. JPB | ||
