X.3749 In this test there were two specimens of wire. A.{Mr Adams} A bright tough wire, .005" in dia, 39 S.W.G. B. A duller wire, .013" in dia. 29 S.W.G. They were tested under practically the same conditions as the previous wires, that is, they were surrounded and covered in on top to keep off draughts, and the current raised gradually with pauses in between.
