x4+62 > INDIA TYRE & RUBBER COMPANY (GREAT BRITAIN) LTD. TELEPHONES: PAISLEY 4141/5. TELEGRAMS: INDIAOWL, RENFREW. INCHINNAN SCOTLAND FROM THE FACTORY'S SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE May 31st 1933. Dear Mr Rowbotham, With reference to our telephone conversation this morning, I understand that you are returning all the tyres with our usual Super Non-Skid tread & that you wish five more tyres with the silent tread to be sent to Derby & that you will be sending an order for them in due course to Inchinnan. Meanwhile, in order to save time, I have advised Inchinnan by telephone & they will accordingly be sending you the five more silent-tread tyres as soon as possible. As regards the trials in France I understood from Inchinnan (I believe Mr W. C. Thorne spoke to Mr Hives on the phone) & from our conversation that you might possibly be so kind as to allow me to go to Chateauroux for them in order to get into touch with Mr Hancock & to be of any service I could as regards the Tyres. I gathered from our conversation that the trials would not take place until at least a fortnight after Inchinnan. PLEASE REPLY TO Crathorne Hall Tel: Eaglescliffe 35. Crathorne, Yorks: | ||
