Valves - Scheme to prevent valve dropping into cylinder - Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said that this was OK and that a standardisation sheet was being prepared. BY.{R.W. Sidgreaves - MD} and Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} know how soon it would get on and what if any scrap would be entailed. It was also decided to make it a Depot Instruction Sheet job and further to introduce the same modification on BR chassis as soon as possible but not to make it a Depot Instruction sheet job for them. Referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}26/KW.15.5.34 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said that they were dealing with the question of taking the supercharger unit completely off this car and putting it on to the Bentley. There were certain difficulties because the superchargers ran the wrong way xxx but these would be overcome. | ||
