Minute No.2. The new car will be capable of starting on the switch practically as well as previous cars. The battery cuts in at 12 m.p.h. as this will often result in non-charging of the batteries in London. Mr. Royce recommended customers to have a small charger fitted in their Garage for charging from the electric lighting circuit. Minute No.3. Customers should be recommended to use a mixture of half benzol and half petrol which results in better and quieter running. Minute No.4. Six new sets of skew bevel gears are on their way from America. These previously tried were not sufficiently good. Minute No.5. Dynamo noises are at present very troublesome and cures are being studied at Derby. Minute No. 6. Amber gear oil should be recommended for gear boxes. The present thick gear oil is not good. | ||
