Minute No.7. The rear shock absorbers are not fitted on the first 75 cars. This will result in the cars being thrown about on the road at high speeds until shock absorbers are fitted. To fit new shock absorbers it will be necessary to scrap the present petrol tank and supply new tanks on to which shock absorbers are fitted. It was pointed out that rear shock absorbers were not fitted at present owing to the fact that they had not gone through the 10,000 miles trial. Mr. Johnson's permission for fitting these before the 10,000 miles trial was to be obtained by Derby. Mr. Royce considers they should be fitted particularly on our own Trials Cars. | ||
