To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} (Chateauroux) from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} 300a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}21/AP.15.7.37 32-EX. Owing to the oil leak from the O.S. carrier plate, which means failure of the half shaft oil seal, being a repetition of what was found when 35-EX. was stripped, we are sending you two new tighter running seals. When E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} has finished his run on this car will you please get these seals fitted at Paris for the rest of the mileage. This job can be done in one day at Derby. We should like the old seals returned here so that we can take the matter up with the makers. Could you check the rear axle temperature at the end of a long fast run.
